Notebook datang ke Raihan Komputer™ dalam kondisi BIOS terpassword dan setelah tampilan BIOS (sebelum masuk windows boot) juga terpassword secara tidak sengaja. Hal ini menurut pemilik dikarenakan sebelumnya notebook dalam kondisi bermasalah, dan setelah direstart malah terpasang password.

Pemilik meminta Raihan Komputer™ untuk membuang password yang terpasang secara tidak sengaja di notebooknya.

Solusi:

1. Baterai notebook dicopot agar tidak ada arus listrik lagi yang mengalir ke dalam notebook tersebut.
2. Buka skrup penutup modul memori (RAM), kemudian buka cover penutup modul memori (RAM) (perlu diperhatikan di sini, hati-hati dalam membuka covernya, karena diperlukan metode khusus agar cover tersebut tidak patah).
3. Copot modul memori (RAM) yang terpasang di dalamnya.
4. Perhatikan di bagian bawah modul memori tersebut terlihat papan PCB, dalam kasus yang kami hadapi, papan PCB tersebut tertutup dengan plastik stiker. Copot dahulu plastik stiker tersebut.
5. Cari tulisan JOPEN1, di situ dapat terlihat 2 titik kecil.
6. Hubungkan (short) 2 titik kecil tersebut dengan kabel kecil (dalam hal ini Raihan Komputer™ menggunakan satu kawat kabel jaringan). Diamkan selama kurang lebih 30 detik.
